For the second time in four years IDF attended the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) classic tournament and was crowned champions on both occasions.

On the first occasion as U17’s IDF became champions with an emphatic and exemplary display of possession soccer which lead to a 5-0 win against the host.

On this occasion, IDF was able to overcome the host during the group phase and win the finals against Concord Fire Central Elite 4-1 in similar style.

During the group phase of the tournament IDF came away group winners with 7 points, with wins against 2-1 win against Atlanta Fire 2001 Elite, and a 5-1 win against Darlington Soccer Academy and was held to a 1-1 by the host 01B Premier team.

“The boys have worked hard and certainly deserves to be champions.”

They are back at training and are looking forward to continuing their winning ways in their upcoming games and tournaments.
